Comparison review

The HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8 Pro's global score of 77.2. The HTC One M9 is a way older and thicker cellphone than the OnePlus 8 Pro, but HTC could make it noticeably lighter anyway. HTC One M9 features a bit faster CPU than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit processing unit.

OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit more vivid display than HTC One M9, because it has a lot better 1440 x 3168 resolution, a bit higher pixels count per inch in the display and a really larger display. OnePlus 8 Pro features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

The OnePlus 8 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a camera with a much better resolution, higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a bigger aperture for better low-light images.

The OnePlus 8 Pro features a superior battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 59% bigger battery size.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the HTC One M9 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
