Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a bit better than OnePlus 8 Pro, getting an 82.9 score against 77.2. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's design is just a little lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro, although it is just a little bit thicker and was released just 18 months before. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a brighter display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a little worse screen density, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3168px. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the OnePlus 8 Pro one, both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
OnePlus 8 Pro captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
OnePlus 8 Pro has just a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Huawei Mate 20 Pro is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a no doubt choice.
