The Huawei Mate X is much better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, getting an 89.4 score against 77.2. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate X is a much thicker and heavier phone than OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus 8 Pro features a better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density.
The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei Mate X has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 Pro features a greater camera than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a larger back-facing camera sensor and a higher resolution camera.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit superior battery performance than Huawei Mate X, because it has a 0 percent larger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than OnePlus 8 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8 Pro. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, letting go a couple features and specs.
