Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is better than OnePlus 8 Pro's 77.2 overall score. The Huawei Mate X2 body is newer and a little thinner than the OnePlus 8 Pro's, but it's notably heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro has a better display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixel count per inch in the display.

The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful CPU than OnePlus 8 Pro. Both have 8 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lesser mega pixels back-facing camera and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light images. The OnePlus 8 Pro has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate X2, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the OnePlus 8 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8 Pro. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
