The Huawei P40 is better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, getting a score of 86.4 against 77.2. Huawei P40's body has the same thickness than OnePlus 8 Pro, but it's somewhat lighter. Huawei P40 and OnePlus 8 Pro both count with similar CPUs, and although the Huawei P40 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a more vivid screen than Huawei P40, because it has a little bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3168px and a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei P40's camera is just as good as OnePlus 8 Pro's camera, because although the Huawei P40 has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a higher resolution camera in the back.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and the Huawei P40 both feature really similar memory capacity for games and applications, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with longer battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 19 percent greater battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, the Huawei P40 is also by far the cheapest one.
