The Huawei P40 Lite has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8 Pro's 77.2 general score. Huawei P40 Lite's design is just a little thicker but a little bit lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much better looking display than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a higher screen pixel density, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a quite larger screen.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Lite's storage to install applications and games is very similar to the OnePlus 8 Pro one, they have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a much better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same resolution back facing camera, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a way higher video quality and a way larger sensor providing a much better image quality. OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit superior battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 7% larger battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Huawei P40 Lite is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
