Comparison review

The OnePlus 8 Pro is a bit better than LG G5, having a 77.2 score against 76.1. Although the OnePlus 8 Pro is extremely newer than the LG G5, it is noticeably heavier and thicker. OnePlus 8 Pro features a more vivid screen than LG G5, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels.

OnePlus 8 Pro features a little faster processor than LG G5, because it has a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than LG G5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a back camera with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution, higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a lot larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.

LG G5 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a very superior battery duration than LG G5, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity.

Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G5, giving up some features and specifications.
