Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is better than the OnePlus 8 Pro's general score of 77.2. Although LG Velvet and OnePlus 8 Pro were only released with a couple months difference, LG Velvet is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit better hardware performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a brighter screen than LG Velvet, and although they both have a display of the same size, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a better resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots slightly better photos and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the same aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a way larger sensor and higher video frame rate.
LG Velvet counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 Pro features just a little better battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has a 5% larger battery size.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, LG Velvet is also by far the cheapest one.
