The Moto Z2 Play has a general score of 77.4, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8 Pro's score of 77.2. Moto Z2 Play's body is a lot lighter and much thinner than OnePlus 8 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a much better looking display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a larger display, a better pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 3168px.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better performance than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Moto Z2 Play features a much better memory for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a much better battery life than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 4510mAh battery size. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots greater pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video quality, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates and a back camera with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Motorola Moto Z2 Play is also by far the cheapest.
