Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a general score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7T Pro's 75.8 global score. Even when the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro were released with only 6 months difference, the OnePlus 8 Pro is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner. The OnePlus 7T Pro has just a bit better performance than OnePlus 8 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 8 GB RAM.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a more vivid display than OnePlus 7T Pro, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit larger display and a bit higher 1440 x 3168 resolution. OnePlus 7T Pro has a superior storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 7T Pro, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery size. OnePlus 8 Pro takes slightly better photographs and videos than OnePlus 7T Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a same resolution back camera and the same video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality photographs and videos.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 7T Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 7T Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7T Pro, giving up a couple features and specifications.
