Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is much better than the OnePlus 8 Pro's overall score of 77.2. Although Galaxy S6 Edge is much older than OnePlus 8 Pro, it's construction is somewhat thinner and much lighter. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more vivid screen than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has a much smaller display and a quite lower 2560 x 1440px resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit superior processing unit than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. The OnePlus 8 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a bigger aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited environments, a much larger sensor and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and the Galaxy S6 Edge both feature very similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 Pro features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is more expensive than OnePlus 8 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
