Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro has a general score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 global score. The OnePlus 8 Pro design is much newer and thinner, but also just a little bit heavier than Galaxy S7 Active. OnePlus 8 Pro has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a quite worse display density, it also counts with a much brighter display, a much larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a greater camera than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back and faster 60 fps video frame rate.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 13% more battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
