Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, getting an 80.1 score against 77.2. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a noticeably heavier and a lot thicker phone than the OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.

The OnePlus 8 Pro has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a bit inferior pixels number in each display inch, it also counts with a lot larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3168px. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has more memory for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

The OnePlus 8 Pro captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution, a much larger sensor and a lot higher (4K) video quality. The OnePlus 8 Pro features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a 0% larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8 Pro. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, giving up a couple features and specs.
