Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is way better than OnePlus 8 Pro's overall score of 77.2. Xperia 1 III is a newer phone, and it is also a little bit lighter and a little thinner than the OnePlus 8 Pro. Xperia 1 III counts with a little faster CPU than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a little lower resolution of 1440 x 3168px, it also counts with a quite larger screen. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has worse 60 fps video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a camera with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution and a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality pictures.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit superior battery duration than Xperia 1 III, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III costs a lot more money than OnePlus 8 Pro, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
