Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI is slightly better than OnePlus 8 Pro, having an 83.2 score against 77.2. The Xperia 1 VI is a much lighter and notably thinner phone than the OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus 8 Pro features a very superior CPU than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a more vivid screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little smaller display, a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a just a bit worse pixels density. Sony Xperia 1 VI has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Sony Xperia 1 VI captures a little bit better photographs and videos than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size camera sensor and a camera in the back with a 48 MP, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with higher 120 frames per second video frame rate.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has just a bit better battery life than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
