OnePlus 8 Pro has a global score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6's 76.5 general score. The OnePlus 8 Pro body is notably newer than the Xiaomi Mi 6's, but it is thicker and heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a really larger display, a much higher 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, a really brighter display and a quite greater display pixels density.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 6 count with quite similar memory capacity to store more apps and games, both have the same 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 Pro features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 4510mAh battery capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a way bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs, a lot better 48 megapixels resolution camera and better video frame rates.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi 6. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 6, resigning some features and specs.
