Comparison review
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has an overall score of 81.5, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8 Pro's 77.2 general score. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G is a newer and a little bit lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8 Pro, but it's also a little bit thicker. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit better performance than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because it has a better pixel number per inch of display, a better 1440 x 3168 resolution and a little larger display. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a worse 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a way better video definition.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has much more memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a bit superior battery duration than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4510mAh.
