Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having a overall score of 77.7 against 75.9. The HTC One M9 design is lighter than OnePlus 8 UW, although it's thicker and was released many years before. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version.
HTC One M9 features a little sharper display than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixels density. HTC One M9 has a little faster CPU than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics processor.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a lot bigger memory for applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. OnePlus 8 UW takes better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger aperture to take better low-light photography and video, a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a very superior battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 51 percent bigger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, HTC One M9 is also by far the cheapest one.
