Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting a global score of 89.4 against 75.9. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, offering some extra features. Even being the best in this review, the Huawei Mate X is a incredibly thicker and a lot heavier cellphone than the OnePlus 8 UW.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a little better performance than Huawei Mate X. They have a 8 GB RAM and the same number of cores. OnePlus 8 UW features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, a lot lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit smaller display.
Huawei Mate X features a superior memory for applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has 384 GB more internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 8 UW captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a back facing camera with more megapixels.
Huawei Mate X features a bit superior battery performance than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 8 UW, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8 UW. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 8 UW, letting go a couple specs and features.
