Comparison review
The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a global score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 UW's general score of 75.9. Although Huawei P Smart (2020) and OnePlus 8 UW were only released with a couple months difference, the Huawei P Smart (2020) design is just a little bit lighter but also just a bit thicker than OnePlus 8 UW. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P Smart (2020) has 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version, providing the user some nice extra features.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 8 UW has a brighter screen than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a bit inferior amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bit bigger display.
OnePlus 8 UW shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have a same size aperture, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a lot better video definition and a much more MP camera. Huawei P Smart (2020) counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The OnePlus 8 UW features greater battery duration than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 26% larger battery size.
