Comparison review
Huawei P40 is better than OnePlus 8 UW, having a overall score of 86.4 against 75.9. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Although Huawei P40 and the OnePlus 8 UW were released only 1 months apart, Huawei P40's body is a little bit thicker but just a little lighter.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little lower display density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a quite bigger screen. Huawei P40's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to OnePlus 8 UW's one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P40 has a CPU that's very similar to the CPU in OnePlus 8 UW, and although the Huawei P40 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P40 counts with just a bit better camera than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a higher resolution camera in the back and a way bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Huawei P40 is also by far the cheapest.
