The Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is better than the OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 overall score. Despite being the best in this review, Huawei P40 Pro is a heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the OnePlus 8 UW. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
Huawei P40 Pro's processor is very similar to the OnePlus 8 UW one, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. OnePlus 8 UW counts with just a bit better looking display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little smaller display and a little bit lower pixels number per inch in the display.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a slightly better camera than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a higher 50 MP resolution camera.
The Huawei P40 Pro features as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the OnePlus 8 UW one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit superior battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
