Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, getting a 77 score against 75.9. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a newer 13 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features. Motorola Edge 40 Neo's body has the same thickness than the OnePlus 8 UW, but it is just a bit lighter.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo and OnePlus 8 UW feature similar screens, and although the Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a little more brightness, they both have a screen with the same size, a higher quantity of pixels per display inch and exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution. Motorola Edge 40 Neo and OnePlus 8 UW both count with incredibly similar storage capacity for applications and games, both have the same internal storage.
OnePlus 8 UW has a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM. Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with greater battery lifetime than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a lot smaller back camera sensor which provides a much lower photo and video quality, a camera in the back with less mega-pixels and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture.
