OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is a bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting a general score of 79.8 against 75.9. Despite being the best phone in this review, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G's construction is older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the OnePlus 8 UW. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a bit faster processing unit than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 8 UW features a little more vivid screen than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, although it has a little lower pixel count in each display inch, a bit smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G shoots a little bit better videos and photos than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a same size back-facing camera sensor, a back facing camera with a 48 megapixels resolution and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a larger camera aperture.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. OnePlus 8 UW features just a bit better battery life than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
