The OnePlus 9 has a general score of 76, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 general score. OnePlus 9 is a newer phone than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's just a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but OnePlus 9 has newer 11 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, counting with some extra features and optimized performance.
The OnePlus 8 UW and the OnePlus 9 count with similar processors, both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. OnePlus 8 UW features a slightly better looking screen than OnePlus 9. They have a display with the same size, the same screen pixel density and an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The OnePlus 9 has as much memory for apps and games as the OnePlus 8 UW, both of them have the same internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 9 has just a bit better camera than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have a 48 MP back camera and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a way higher video definition and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
OnePlus 9 has just a little bit longer battery duration than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, OnePlus 9 is also cheap compared to the OnePlus 8 UW.
