Comparison review
The Galaxy A30s is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having a 79.8 score against 75.9. The Galaxy A30s body is just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 8 UW, even when both were released only 7 months apart. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy A30s has newer 11 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version, giving some extra features and performance improvements.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, way more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit larger display. OnePlus 8 UW has a little better processing power than Galaxy A30s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 UW also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 UW shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a way higher video definition and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy A30s counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A30s also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. OnePlus 8 UW has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy A30s, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size.
