Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than OnePlus 8 UW, having a score of 85.7 against 75.9. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an way older phone than the OnePlus 8 UW, but Samsung made it a little thinner and notably lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features just a little better processing power than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a little bit better screen than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a higher amount of pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's memory for apps and games is very similar to OnePlus 8 UW's one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. OnePlus 8 UW features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4300mAh battery size. OnePlus 8 UW features a lot better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light situations, a much larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The Galaxy S6 Edge costs more than the OnePlus 8 UW, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
