Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having a overall score of 80.1 against 75.9. Despite being the best we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is much heavier and notably thicker than OnePlus 8 UW. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has newer 8.0 Oreo version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, providing some additional features.

The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 8 UW has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a way lower pixel count per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen.

OnePlus 8 UW features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality photos and videos, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has more memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 5% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs more than the OnePlus 8 UW, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8 UW. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the OnePlus 8 UW, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
