Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is much better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having a general score of 87.2 against 75.9. Xperia 5 II's body has the same thickness than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's just a little bit lighter. Xperia 5 II's processor is very similar to the OnePlus 8 UW one, they have 8 CPU cores and a 8 GB RAM. The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a just a little inferior pixel amount in each inch of display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a little larger screen.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a superior camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor offering a lower image quality, worse 60 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a way more MP camera in the back.
Xperia 5 II has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit superior battery duration than Xperia 5 II, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Xperia 5 II costs a little more than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
