Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III is better than the OnePlus 8 UW, with a 90.5 score against 75.9. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 5 III has a newer 11 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version. The Xperia 5 III construction is newer and a little bit lighter, but also a bit thicker than the OnePlus 8 UW.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit bigger display. Xperia 5 III has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia 5 III and OnePlus 8 UW have extremely similar processing units, they have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photographs or video in poorly lited situations, slower 60 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Xperia 5 III counts with a little better battery duration than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
