Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, with an 82.2 score against 75.9. Even being the best device in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also an older, much thicker and a lot heavier device. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a brighter screen than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has less brightness and a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a way greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with more memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a processor that's just as good as the OnePlus 8 UW one, and although the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The OnePlus 8 UW has improved battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also has better video frame rate, a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and a lot better resolution back camera.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium costs more money than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
