The Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, getting a general score of 80.4 against 75.9. Despite being the best we compare here, Xiaomi Black Shark's body is a lot older, thicker and just a little heavier than the OnePlus 8 UW. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a quite larger display, a little greater pixels density and much more brightness. Xiaomi Black Shark counts with as much memory to install applications and games as OnePlus 8 UW, both of them have the same internal storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark and OnePlus 8 UW count with similar processors, they have a Octa-Core processor and 8 GB of RAM memory. The OnePlus 8 UW shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a way more megapixels camera.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
