Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is slightly better than OnePlus 8 UW, having an 81.4 score against 75.9. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a newer 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, so it provides you a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is an older cellphone than OnePlus 8 UW, but Xiaomi could make it somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger amount of RAM. The OnePlus 8 UW has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little larger display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and much more brightness.
OnePlus 8 UW and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE feature extremely similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, both have the same internal memory. OnePlus 8 UW features a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3070mAh. OnePlus 8 UW shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same camera sensor size, the same resolution back camera, the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also has faster video frame rates.
