The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the OnePlus 9, having a 78.7 score against 76. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an notably older cellphone than the OnePlus 9, but Huawei managed to make it lighter and somewhat thinner. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 9 has Android 11 version.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better looking display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. OnePlus 9 features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 9 takes much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a much better video quality, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography, a way larger sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the OnePlus 9 one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 9 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro costs a little more money than OnePlus 9, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
