The Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is better than OnePlus 9's overall score of 76. Despite being the best in this comparison review, Huawei Mate X is an older, a lot heavier and incredibly thicker phone than OnePlus 9. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 9 has Android 11, so it offers some additional features.
The Huawei Mate X has a slightly better looking display than OnePlus 9, because it has a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch of display, a lot better 2200 x 2480 resolution and a larger display. The Huawei Mate X has a superior storage to store more games and applications than OnePlus 9, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 9 counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate X. Both have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores. The OnePlus 9 features a much better camera than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a more mega pixels back facing camera.
Huawei Mate X has a battery life that's just as good as OnePlus 9's battery life.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy OnePlus 9, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
