Huawei P40 Pro is much better than OnePlus 9, having a general score of 88.2 against 76. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Huawei P40 Pro is an older, a bit thicker and a little heavier cellphone than the OnePlus 9. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version while OnePlus 9 has Android 11 version.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a slightly better looking display than OnePlus 9, because it has a just a bit greater count of pixels per screen inch, a bit higher 1200 x 2640px resolution and a little bit larger screen. Huawei P40 Pro's memory for games and applications is just as good as OnePlus 9's one, they have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 Pro's CPU is just as good as OnePlus 9's processor, they have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM amount. Huawei P40 Pro and OnePlus 9 feature similar cameras, because although the Huawei P40 Pro has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with higher video frame rate, a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a back camera with a better 50 mega-pixels resolution.
The OnePlus 9 has a little better battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 7 percent more battery capacity.
