Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than OnePlus 9, getting a overall score of 82.6 against 76. The Sony Xperia 1 is an older phone than the OnePlus 9, but Sony could make it a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter. The Xperia 1 has a better screen than OnePlus 9, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia 1 also has a much greater quantity of pixels per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus 9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 1's processing unit is very similar to the OnePlus 9 one, and although the Xperia 1 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
OnePlus 9 counts with a very superior camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way larger back camera sensor, a way better resolution camera and a lot higher video resolution.
OnePlus 9 features longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 35 percent bigger battery size.
Xperia 1 costs more than OnePlus 9, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
