Comparison review
Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 9, getting a overall score of 77.6 against 76. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and OnePlus 9 has Android 11. The Xperia Z5 construction is thinner and lighter than the OnePlus 9, although it was released many years before.
The Xperia Z5 has a better display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display. OnePlus 9 has more memory to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
OnePlus 9 has just a bit better performance than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 9 features a really longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
OnePlus 9 has a superior camera than Xperia Z5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a much larger back camera sensor, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Xperia Z5 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, making it a no doubt choice.
