The LG G8S ThinQ is better than the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, getting an 82.5 score against 73.1. These phones have Android operating system, but LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus Nord 2 5G has Android 11. Even though the LG G8S ThinQ is older than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, it's body is a bit lighter and just a bit thinner.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a bit better processing unit than LG G8S ThinQ. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. LG G8S ThinQ has a display that is very similar to OnePlus Nord 2 5G's display, although the LG G8S ThinQ has a quite smaller display, a little less pixels per inch in the screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G captures much better photos and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G has improved battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3550mAh.
