Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than the OnePlus Nord 2 5G's general score of 73.1. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, the Galaxy A42 body is a bit heavier and a bit thicker than OnePlus Nord 2 5G. Both phones in this review have the same Android 11 operating system.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot higher pixels number per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A42's camera is very similar to the camera in OnePlus Nord 2 5G, because although the Samsung Galaxy A42 has a lower video definition and a camera with a lower 48 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and video. The Galaxy A42 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features just a bit longer battery life than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
