The Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, getting a 78.1 score against 73.1. Both of these devices include the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy XCover 5 construction is thicker but a little lighter than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, and they were released only 5 months apart. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a bigger screen, more pixels per display inch and a way higher 1080 x 2400px resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity. OnePlus Nord 2 5G shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a way better (4K) video quality.
