Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot better than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, getting a 93.3 score against 73.1. The Sony Xperia 1 III is a just a little lighter cellphone than the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, but both of them are equally thin. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 11 operating system.
Sony Xperia 1 III features a brighter display than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a little bigger display and a way greater screen density. Xperia 1 III's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in OnePlus Nord 2 5G, and although the Xperia 1 III has 6 GB more RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus Nord 2 5G, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus Nord 2 5G and Xperia 1 III count with really similar batteries duration.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better 50 megapixels resolution.
