Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, with a score of 87 against 72.3. Although it's the best we are comparing here, it must be told that it is also a heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should give identical operating system features.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has a sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Galaxy A42 features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G counts with a little better performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G also has more RAM. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G also has a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Galaxy A42 features a bit longer battery duration than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, because it has an 11% greater battery capacity.
