Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is way better than OnePlus Nord CE 5G's global score of 72.3. Both phones in this review use the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features. The Xperia 1 III is a just a bit heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
Sony Xperia 1 III features a bit more powerful processor than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. The Xperia 1 III has a brighter screen than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, because it has a much higher display density, a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a little bit larger display.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G features a little bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a way bigger storage for apps and games than OnePlus Nord CE 5G, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G and the Sony Xperia 1 III count with similar battery performance.
