The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than OnePlus Nord, getting a score of 78.7 against 74.2. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus Nord has Android 10. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro construction is a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the OnePlus Nord, even though it was released many years before.
The OnePlus Nord has a bit faster CPU than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus Nord also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than OnePlus Nord, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much memory capacity for games and applications as the OnePlus Nord, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity. OnePlus Nord features a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the OnePlus Nord also has a way larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger aperture to take better low-light images and videos and a lot more mega-pixels camera.
OnePlus Nord has a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4115mAh of battery capacity.
