The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is much better than OnePlus Nord's 74.2 global score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy M40 is older than OnePlus Nord, it's body is a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. Both of these devices work with the same Android 10 operating system. The OnePlus Nord features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus Nord also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy M40 has a display that's just as good as the OnePlus Nord one, although the Galaxy M40 has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little worse display pixel density and a bit smaller screen. OnePlus Nord takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the OnePlus Nord also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a way better image quality and a way more mega-pixels camera.
The Galaxy M40 has much more storage to store more games and applications than OnePlus Nord, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. OnePlus Nord has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has an 18 percent greater battery capacity.
