Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is much better than the OnePlus Nord, with an 83 score against 74.2. Although it's the best phone we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an extremely older, a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier phone than the OnePlus Nord. These devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus Nord has Android 10, giving some nice extra features.

Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better screen than OnePlus Nord, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The OnePlus Nord counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus Nord also has 2 GB more RAM.

OnePlus Nord shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the OnePlus Nord also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

Galaxy Note8 has a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus Nord, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The OnePlus Nord counts with improved battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
