The Galaxy On8 is just a bit better than OnePlus One, having a global score of 70.1 against 63.8. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy On8 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while OnePlus One has Android 4.4.4, providing the user a couple additional features and improved performance. Galaxy On8's design is newer and thinner than OnePlus One's, but it is also just a little bit heavier.
OnePlus One features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy On8, because although it has lesser processing cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the OnePlus One also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. OnePlus One features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy On8. Both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a screen with the same size and the same pixels density.
Galaxy On8 has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus One, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy On8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The OnePlus One shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy On8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have a back camera with a 13 mega pixels resolution, the OnePlus One also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Samsung Galaxy On8 counts with a bit longer battery performance than OnePlus One, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
