Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the older 10 version while OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) has Android 15. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a brighter display than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), because although it has a bit worse 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixel density.
OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) features a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a way better processing power than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
