Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Xperia 1 V has older 13 version while OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) has Android 15. Xperia 1 V has a more vivid display than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of screen and a quite better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) has a bit better processor than Sony Xperia 1 V, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) also has 4 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 V takes a bit better photographs and videos than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 48 MP and the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 V also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and faster 120 frames per second video frame rate.
The OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) features much more storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia 1 V, because it has 256 GB more internal storage. The OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) features just a little better battery life than Xperia 1 V, because it has a 14% more battery size.
